Your Questions Answered
What denomination is a cowboy church?
A cowboy church usually operates independently of others and is not, in itself, a denomination. Lone Star Cowboy Church is a Assemblies of God church. Any cowboy church you visit will have its own denominational associations, so it’s always good to ask.
What do cowboy churches believe?
Cowboy Churches, in large part, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the one true God, the Holy Trinity, the shed blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and the authority of the Holy Bible.
What is the difference between a cowboy church and a regular church?
Truthfully, not much. We do celebrate our western heritage, and rodeo culture is a huge part of life here, but at the end of the day, we are a group of believers that just want you to come as you are and find a relationship with Jesus. The cowboy worship experience is informal, casual, and welcoming to anyone who wants to be here.
What should I wear to a cowboy church?
Anything appropriate for church or your granny’s house. We love a good hat and pair of boots, but there is no “cowboy dress code” to come to church. Most of our members wear jeans and comfortable tops and dresses
